As a biblical counselor, I am like a gardener entrusted with the most perfect seed—the inerrant, sufficient, and authoritative Word of God (Mk. 4:2-9). His Word has everything needed for life and godliness (2 Pet . 1:3), so I do not try to improve it or mix in the imperfect seeds of secular counseling theories. I plant His Word faithfully, water with hope, prune with correction, and trust God for the growth (1 Cor. 3:6).

My role is to tend the soil of your heart, under the light of God’s truth, working toward aligning living with biblical truth, but knowing that heart-transformation doesn’t come from my skill, but from the life-giving, heart-transforming power of God’s Word, which, through the guidance of His Spirit, trains you to live biblically.
